HULL
Construction: Steel plate.
Steel bulkheads and structure.
Integral ballast keel.
Note: A section of hull plating below galley and in way of chain locker was replaced at this slipping.
Repairs were completed to commercial vessel standards.

Underwater section: ¾ fin keel with skeg.
Hull skin was fair and secure.
Transducer forward of keel appeared to be correctly fitted.
Hull was adequately protected with anodes on skeg, keel and hull.
New anodes were fitted.
Hull antifouled at this slipping.

Running gear: 19 inch, 4 blade bronze propeller on SS shaft.
New Propspeed coating to propeller.
Cutless bearing was serviceable.
Skeg hung hollow steel plate rudder.
Stern tube and heel bearings were serviceable.

Topsides: Painted white in good condition with gloss surface.
Timber swim platform was fitted at the transom.
Inside of hull: Internal condition of the hull structure was seen to be clean, dry, well maintained, secure and in serviceable condition.
Steel plating was rust proofed throughout.

Deck: Steel plate.
Steel bulwarks.
SS tube pulpit.
Stanchions were well supported at base.
Timber handrail.
SS tube davits.
Double SS lifelines.
Painted non-skid in good condition.
Cockpit: Dual helm stations.
Centre cockpit with wheel steering.
Wheelhouse: A timber wheelhouse with glass windows housed the main steering station.
Padded helm seat.
12 volt Engel fridge under helm seat.

Coachroof: Steel plate.
Coachroof was in sound condition.
SS portlights were secure.
Hatches and seals appeared serviceable.
Rig: Cutter rigged masthead ketch.
Solid SS rod bobstay appeared serviceable.
Standing rigging reported new in 2012.
Double spreaders on main and single on mizzen.
Deck stepped aluminium extrusion masts on tabernacle bases.
Compression posts and step structures were secure.
All chainplates appeared serviceable.
Running rigging (new 2016).
Aluminium extrusion booms.
Goosenecks were secure.

Furlers: Roller furlers were fitted to the forestay and inner forestay.
Winches: 2x Barlow 19 on mast.
2x Barient 19 in cockpit.
2x Barient 27 primaries in cockpit.
1x Barlow 24 on wheelhouse roof.
Sails: Fully battened mainsail in boombag with lazyjacks (new 2016).
Mizzen in fair condition.
Jib on furler with UV strip in fair condition.
Staysail on furler in fair condition.
MPS in good condition.
Spinnaker in good condition.
Furling gennaker (new 2013).

Forward cabin: V-berth with storage under.
2x single berths.
Chain locker access forward with rubber sheet lining.
Traditional timber framed skylight.
Heads: Electric toilet forward to starboard with holding tank.
Manual toilet to port aft.
Shower: In forward head compartment.

Galley: Genset driven, 240 volt eutectic fridge.
Plastimo Neptune 2 burner gas stove with grill and oven.
240 volt microwave.
SS sheet lining to worktops.
Double SS sink.
Sovereign SS gas BBQ.
Saloon:

Saloon: L-shaped dinette to starboard with timber table.
Seating to port.
Nav station: To starboard.
Aft cabin: Large aft cabin accessed via walkthrough on starboard side.

Fresh water: Built in tanks in v-berth, under saloon and under saloon seating.
Water tanks were inspected, cleaned and painted internally in 2016.
Engine and 240volt heated hot water system.
Watermaker: Open Ocean 80 lph, engine driven.
Aircon: Webasto 240 volt ducted airconditioning.

Internal joinery and condition of timbers throughout was very good.
Timber planked cabin sole was in good condition.
MACHINERY
Engine: Perkins 100, 90 Hp, 4 cylinder diesel.
S/N AA35001 UG28025X.
3353 hours on gauge.
Shaft drive.
Fuel and coolant hoses, fittings and engine wiring appeared to be in serviceable condition.
No fuel or oil leaks were seen.
Engine space and engine were clean and appeared to be well maintained.
Note: Engine was inspected externally only.
Genset: Next Generation Kubota UCM2, 5.5 Kw genset.
Fuel: In built-in tanks under floor.
Hoses and fittings to tanks appeared serviceable.
Primary fuel filter/ water separator.
Steering: Wheel on pedestal with chaindrive to hydraulic pump.
No wear was detected in top stern-tube bearing.
Emergency tiller.
Dual rams operated SS tiller arm onto rudder stock.
All new steering gear (2012).
Bilge pumps: Rule 1500 gph with float switch.
Rule 800 gph under engine.
Gulper 12 volt pump.
Henderson MkV manual bilge pump.
Seacocks/ skin-fittings: Skin fittings and seacocks appeared to be correctly installed and serviceable.
ELECTRICAL
12 volt DC and 240 AC systems.
Batteries: 5x 120 Ah house batteries.
2x 70Ah cranking battery.
Battery selectors.
Cabling and terminals were in serviceable condition.

Chargers: Pure Charge 40Ah.
Victron Centaur 80Ah
Wind generator: Aerogen.
Solar: 2x 30 watt panels fitted to davits with Solarex SR4 regulator.
Shorepower: Receptacle in cockpit.
Vessel had been completely rewired in 2012 including new main panel.
DC and AC systems have electrical panels with circuits protected by breakers.
ELECTRONICS/ NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT
Navigation lights: Port and starboard nav lights on wheelhouse.
Anchor light and strobe on masthead.
Steaming light on mast.
Stern light on pushpit.
Compass: Plastimo Horizon 135 on binnacle.
DC200 electronic compass.
Radios: 2x Icom IC-M412 VHF (new 2016).
Icom ICM 710, HF, call sign VNZ2215.
GPS: Furuno GPS Navigator GP31.
Raymarine A70 plotter. (new 2016).
Simrad NSS12 Evo 2 Combo plotter (new 2016).

Fire extinguishers: 2x 1.0 kg dry powder portable.
1x 2.0kg DPE.
A fire blanket was stowed at the galley.
Epirb: GME MT400.
It is the responsibility of the operator of the vessel to ensure that all safety and lifesaving equipment is carried and maintained in accordance with the conditions and the area of intended operation.
GROUND TACKLE
Anchors: Main, 33kg Rocna with 100m of 7/16 high tensile chain (new 2016).
Spare Delta 25kg (new 2016).
Both anchors stowed on bow.
Windlass: Hydraulic horizontal windlass with gypsy and drum.
TENDER
Swift 3.1 m RIB, HIN: AUSWAA3386D515, with custom tube cover, (new 2016).
Tohatsu 20 Hp outboard motor (new 2008).
Tohatsu 9.8 Hp outboard motor (new 2016).
GENERAL COMMENTS AND CONDITION
The vessel had undergone continuous upgrades and was considered structurally sound and constructed to a good boat building standard.
Internal condition of the hull and structure was very good.
High quality materials and equipment had been used.
The condition of the vessel was considered to be good for its age and appeared to have been well maintained and upgraded with quality equipment as required.
